Guard, patrol, watch and sniffer dogs — bred, raised, trained and handled in-house. Deterrence that works in the dark, in the rain, and when the power is out.

Why dogs

A camera records the intrusion. A dog prevents it.

Most compound breaches in Nigeria happen between midnight and 4am, at the fence line, during a power interruption. That is precisely where fixed electronics are weakest and a trained dog is strongest.

A patrol dog covers a perimeter faster than a man on foot, works in complete darkness, detects a presence through a wall long before it becomes visible, and — this is the part clients undervalue — is a deterrent that people can see from outside the fence. Most of the value is in the intrusion that never gets attempted.

Our memorandum licenses us to breed, raise, train, supply and deal in guard dogs, guide dogs, watch dogs, sniffer dogs, hunting dogs, attack dogs and all dogs and animals required for security purposes. We use that licence carefully and narrowly: dogs for protection, screening and detection, always deployed with a trained handler.

Deployment roles

Different dogs, trained for different jobs.

We match the animal to the task rather than presenting one dog as the answer to every risk.

Guard & watch dogs

Held at fixed points — yards, warehouses, compounds and storage areas — to hold ground and raise the alarm. Trained to alert and contain rather than to escalate unprompted.

Patrol dogs

Worked on a circuit with a handler through the night, covering perimeter, fence line and blind spots on an irregular pattern so the route can never be timed from outside.

Sniffer & detection dogs

Screening duties at gates, loading bays, events and staff entrances. Deployed where searching every vehicle or bag by hand would be slow, intrusive and unreliable.

Handler-paired teams

Every dog we deploy comes with the handler who trained with it. Dog and handler are certified together, rostered together, and neither is swapped in without a re-pairing period.

How a Cyrustic dog is made.

Selection & raising

Animals are selected for temperament and drive, then socialised early. A nervous dog is a liability on a live site and is never progressed.

Obedience foundation

Control before capability. Recall, heel, hold and release are proofed under distraction long before any protection work begins.

Role training

Guarding, patrol or detection streams, worked against the environments the dog will actually face — vehicles, fences, crowds, night conditions.

Handler pairing

Dog and handler certify as a unit. Handovers between handlers are managed, never abrupt.

Welfare & review

Kennelling, feeding, veterinary care and rest cycles are documented. A tired or unwell dog is stood down, not pushed through a shift.

On welfare

A dog that is fed, rested and worked properly is also the dog that performs. There is no version of this where cruelty is efficient.

K9 enquiries

Deploy a dog team, or buy a trained dog.

We deploy handler-paired teams on contract, and we supply trained dogs to clients running their own kennels. Tell us the site and the risk and we will advise which is right.
